The Mighty Travelers have been singing for 30 years starting out when they were just little kids. They followed in the footsteps of their uncles The Sensational Travelers of Dallas, TX. They wanted to have a real traditional southern gospel sound. Over the years they have sharpen their musical talent and vocal skills. With their new CD, they have accomplished their goal. It is full of that traditional gospel sound. Kenneth, James, Chris, and Pat have traveled all over the country singing Gods Praise, With Kenneth Stokes singing lead and Patrick Stokes backing him up, Chris Bollin blending the backgrounds and James Jennings filling the floor with his funky bass lines, they are destine for stardom. The Violinaires were given this name on the road as people often commented on the high falsetto style (consisting of two tenors and a baritone) as “violins harmonizing.” In 2002, a year after the passing of world known group leader Robert Blair, Titus “Lil Blair” Stallworth honored his memory by reinstating the Violinaires. Joining Lil Blair (affectionately given this name by the legend himself for Titus’ ability to immolate Robert Blair on stage) in carrying on the stratospheric sound so noted by the Violinaires are: tenor and guitarist, Sedritz Strickland (formerly of the Brooklyn Allstars) and 2^nd tenor, Danny Boone. A dynamic band also compliments this group! There new CD, Unleashed, consists of eleven (11) new songs by the group.
