We reviewed the songs on the CD in July 2004.  Therefore, we will not spend anytime in this review discussing the actual songs. 

The QC’s are already on stage when the video begins.  They move from song to song with the level of professionalism you would expect from The Legend.  The stage is certainly large enough for the singers and the musicians.  There is no one hinging around the stage.  Therefore, you are able to focus on the singers and not be distracted by any unnecessary activity on the stage.

The concert was recorded at the Livingston Performing Arts Center, Morton, Mississippi.  This venue is perfect for a live recording.  It appears that several groups have used this venue recently for their live recording. 

The lighting is okay.  At times, however, the glare from the various camera angles will cause you to blink your eyes in an effort to adjust to the change in the lighting.    There are many close-ups of the members of the group and musicians.  Several shots of the audience were dark or fuzzy.  In addition, as much as the QC’s asked for it, they did not get the kind of crowd response you would have expected of a live recording by The Legend.  But, that should not discourage you from purchasing the video.  To have a recent live video of The Legend makes the purchase of this video a must for any gospel quartet enthusiast. 

The quality of the sound is great.  There are no highs or lows in the sound quality.  The recording level is consistent throughout the video.  You will realize, however, that the vocals are not actually in sync with the singers’ lip movements.  This is not an uncommon occurrence in many videos.  But, because of the many close-up shots of the singers, it will seem to be more prevalent on this project.  There are no interviews on this project, just singing from the beginning to the end.
